A grading report lists a stone's four Cs. It can't tell you how it holds the light, whether it reads cloudy, or how its shade sits against your chosen metal.

Every JAY NICK diamond is chosen by eye — a standard built over two generations in the diamond trade.

How it works

  • Married Couple Holding Hands

    01 — Consult

    We sit down together, in the Hatton Garden studio or by video, to understand the piece and the budget it sits within. The design fee is redeemed against your order.

  • Gemstones & Tools

    02 — Design

    Your diamond is hand-selected and the setting drawn around it. You see the ring in CAD and full render — and can change it — before any metal is cut.

  • Jewellery Filing

    03 — Create

    Your piece is made to our specification, hallmarked at the London Assay Office, and ready to wear in around six weeks.

Questions, answered

Do I need an appointment?

Yes — we work by appointment so you have our full attention and the right stones ready to see. Book online, by phone or by email and we'll confirm a time.
How does the design fee work?

A small design fee covers the consultation and CAD work. It's fully redeemed against your order when you go ahead.
How long does a bespoke piece take?

Around six weeks from approved render to a finished, hallmarked piece. We'll give you a firm date at your consultation.
Natural or lab-grown diamonds?

Both. Our natural diamonds carry GIA or IGI certificates; our lab-grown diamonds are IGI certified. We'll help you weigh the trade-offs for your budget.
Do you offer resizing and aftercare?

Yes — every piece comes with lifetime aftercare, including cleaning and inspection. Resizing is available on most settings.
